Mom always hurries the child, often ignoring the little treasures he picked along the way and his wish to play with friends. When the rain suddenly comes, the child breaks free and runs into the rain to keep his promise with the snail.

At last, Mom stops and waits gently.

ABOUT THE CREATOR:

An illustrator who studied fashion design at Guangxi University of Arts before transitioning to illustration. Her picture book Wait a Moment was shortlisted for several awards in 2022 and 2023, including the 14th Xinyi Picture Book Award, the 4th Golden Key Picture Book Creation Competition, and multiple prestigious picture book awards.
