This is a story that unfolds beside a stove. On a snowy day, the stove in Grandpa’s house burns brightly. Knock, knock, knock—one after another, guests arrive at the door. Whom could they be? Soon, the warm glow of the stove is shared among a crowd of friends. Outside, the world is icy and cold, but inside Grandpa’s house, it feels as warm as spring.

Yu Wan, an emerging picturebook creator, is skilled in painting, photography, and handicrafts. She usually creates her characters and scenes with clay and fabrics, then takes photos for her final pieces. Her works have been selected for the "IREAD Children's Book 100” and the Hsin Yi Picture Book Award.  Her representative works include Molly the Mole, The Cat and Five Cats.
