I’ve long wanted to create a picture book about Grandma. In my eyes, she is an incredible woman. Though illiterate, she ran a tailor shop, learned Chinese medicine on her own, and kept reading. She taught me to be strong. In an era of scarcity, she stitched a life with needle and thread and passed on her love for life to me.
