wang zumin (illustrator/author)

WANG Zumin is born in Suzhou, China. After he finished his studies at Nanjing Normal University, he has worked as an art editor at Jiangsu Phoenix Juvenile and Children’s Publishing since 1984 and is now a senior editor. He has been engaged in illustration creation for children’s books for many years and won the UNESCO’s Noma Children’s Book Award in 1990. His picturebooks have been published in the US, Italy, Germany, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Picturebook I Am a Tiger, Who Am I Scared Of? was selected for the Bologna Illustration Exhibition in 2016.
